Audio: [Because I Arrived Late, This Happened](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ysUvliGrxkIlMp9F5zhm_ww0EZMXHquG/view?usp=drivesdk)
Yesterday I arrived late to work. I woke up on time, but the bus didn’t come when it usually does. I waited for fifteen minutes, checking my phone and looking down the street, but nothing. In the end, I decided to walk to the next stop. By the time another bus came, I already knew I wasn’t going to make it on time.
When I finally got to the office, the morning meeting had already started. My manager was talking, and everyone was sitting around the table. I opened the door quietly and tried not to make noise, but of course everyone looked at me. There was only one empty chair left, right next to the screen.
Because I arrived late, I missed the part where tasks were assigned. When the meeting ended, I had to ask a coworker what I was supposed to do. She explained it quickly, and I wrote everything down so I wouldn’t forget.
The rest of the day went on as usual. It wasn’t a big problem, but I felt uncomfortable for a while. It was just one of those days.
