Audio: [I Spoke with Someone](https://drive.google.com/file/d/13foCSMl2ktSOjYJL3MCRH9N-weK2EKER/view?usp=drivesdk) Yesterday at work, I spoke with someone I hadn’t met before. It happened in the hallway near the elevators. I was carrying a stack of folders and trying to find the meeting room on the third floor. I must have looked confused because she stopped and asked if I needed help. I told her I was looking for Room 3B, but the signs on the wall only showed numbers, not letters. She explained that the letters were on a small board next to the main office. I hadn’t seen it when I came in. She walked with me to the board and pointed to the schedule. My meeting had been moved to Room 3D. I thanked her and said I would have waited in the wrong place. She smiled and said it happened all the time. We introduced ourselves briefly. Her name was Laura, and she worked in accounting. I told her I was new in the department and still learning where everything was. After that, I went to the correct room. I arrived just two minutes before the meeting started. If I hadn’t spoken with her, I would have missed it. It was a short conversation, but it helped a lot.
