Audio: [It Used to Happen More Often](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1iu01X985QWO3HJQ4BqzzIaMpVUCDrWQO/view?usp=drivesdk) It used to happen more often. Every few weeks, something would go wrong with the old coffee machine in the office. Some days it wouldn’t turn on. Other days it would make a strange noise and stop halfway through pouring a cup. We all knew the sound. As soon as we heard it, someone would say, “Not again,” and walk over to unplug it. Back then, we had a small routine. We would press the button twice, wait ten seconds, and try again. Sometimes that worked. Sometimes it didn’t. On those mornings, we had to go to the café across the street. It wasn’t terrible, but it took extra time, and everyone arrived at their desks a little later than usual. Now it doesn’t happen as much. A technician came a few months ago and replaced a few parts inside the machine. Since then, it has been working almost every day. Once in a while it still makes a strange sound, but it doesn’t stop anymore. It used to be a regular problem. Now it’s rare. Most mornings, I press the button, wait a few seconds, and my coffee is ready.
