Audio: [Sometimes the plan changes](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1DnHcHXh-bOy0YSFQZYnuNxgVa1Zkc_k9/view?usp=drivesdk) Usually we do the same thing every Friday. I finish work around the same time, I walk to the bus stop, and I meet my friend at the small café near his place. We sit outside if the weather is good, order the same drinks, and talk about whatever happened during the week. Most of the time, nothing changes, and that’s fine. That day felt normal at first. I left work, checked the time, and thought everything was on track. While I was on the bus, I got a message from my friend. He said he was running late because something unexpected came up at work. It didn’t sound serious, just one of those things that happens sometimes. I got off at my stop and stood there for a moment. I could wait, go to the café anyway, or do something else. I decided to walk around the neighborhood instead. I passed a few shops, watched people heading home, and sat on a bench for a bit. It was quiet, and I didn’t mind being alone. About half an hour later, my friend called. He was free now and asked where I was. We met a little later than usual, at a different place, and stayed for less time. It wasn’t how we normally do it, but it worked. Most days are the same, but sometimes the plan changes, and that’s okay.
